Farming God’s Way

Agristewards is a faith-based organization dedicated to equipping communities around the world with agricultural knowledge rooted in biblical principles. Their mission was to empower individuals by combining the teachings of Christ with sustainable farming practices, helping to improve livelihoods and foster self-reliance.

On August 6, I traveled to Indianapolis to learn from the experts at Agristewards. They worked to recruit American farmers to share their skills and faith with communities in need. Farming God’s Way, a method taught by Agristewards, focused on soil conservation and proper farming techniques based on biblical principles. This approach offered a practical and spiritual foundation for farming in developing countries.

A group from Agristewards had recently returned from the border of Thailand and Burma, where they trained over 200 locals in vegetable farming and soil conservation. I had the opportunity to network, share my experiences in Burma and Thailand, and learn practical methods to farm more efficiently with fewer resources.
